The Olympic Peninsula Events Calendar is a listing of events, activities, and places in Clallam County. It covers the Olympic Peninsula from the Pacific Ocean to Hood Canal, and includes the Olympic National Park. It also has fairs and festivals of local towns including Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks, Port Townsend, and more!
We will feature things do, places to go, and shopping/dining options that are fun and memorable. There will also be information about community outreaches, such as fundraisers and volunteer opportunities. Whether if you're a visitor to our quaint town, or one of the kind-hearted local citizens, Clallam County is a great place to be.
(Some of our listings may be longer reads. This is because Suzie Scribbles, our roving reporter, has visited the events and has left a review.)
On The First Thursday’s of each month Chuck Easton (Bass), George Radebaugh (Piano), and Tom Svornich (Drums), will be hosting an open Jazz Jam! Open to players that can integrate well and add to the magic of the evening. As with our Open Mic come on down talk with the band and jump in! This is Cellar Door and these wonderful musicians supporting and moving our venue toward as much of a jazz club as we can possibly create in our little town! Come Support our local Jazz community!
Come visit Cellar Door in beautiful Port Townsend. Featuring craft cocktails, delicious dishes and the peninsula’s best live music.

In Port Angeles, you will see dinosaur sized rubber duckies around town, heralding the upcoming Duck Derby! The Derby is a fundraiser for the Olympic Medical Center Foundation, and hosted by the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe.
How it works: Rubber duckies go on sale April 22, 2022 all over town. Each duckie is $6, and there is no limit on purchase. The duckies are all numbered for the big race on May 22, 2022 at Lincoln Park. The duckies are set adrift in a pond with the water being churned by a local firetruck. There is an exit tube at the end of the arena, and the goal is for the duckies to make it to the tube. There are 40 winners of the derby, with the grand prize being a new Toyota!
Join the quirky fun and donate to a good cause with the Annual Duck Derby!

Cristy, from Port Orchard, WA, says:
"I wanted you to know that I appreciate your book so much! I have a few books about hikes in the area but your book is unique. I love how you include maps, online resources, restaurants, places to stay, and on and on.
"Plus, your writing is professional yet personal. Our neighbors just moved to Washington and have been trying to explore the local area. I recommended this book to them. They bought it on the spot!
"Thank you for the time and effort you put into making a much needed book. I have lived here most of my life; with your book, I feel like I'm discovering where we live through a new lens. It's simply wonderful" (Cristy, WA).
